BUCKS COUNTY BANK HOSTS “HARRY THE K” BOOK SIGNING LUNCHEON
Spring gave Bucks County Bank the perfect sunny day to host a book signing luncheon at Bella Tori at the Mansion in Langhorne on Wednesday, May 5th. Randy Miller, Phillies Beat Writer for the Bucks County Courier Times, Doylestown Intelligencer and Burlington County Times, signed copies of his book “Harry the K: The Remarkable Life of Harry Kalas” and spoke to the group of about 50 invited guests about his memories and experiences with Harry Kalas. Each guest received a copy of his book. The luncheon was part of Bucks County Bank’s ongoing recognition of the local business community.

BUCKS COUNTY BANK ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS / NEW HIRE
Karen Madotto of Rydal, PA has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Retail Banking. Ms. Madotto has been Manager of the Bensalem Office since joining the Bank in 2008 and has over 10 years of banking experience. She is also an active member and Officer of the Feasterville Business Association.
Gabriel Dragos of Perkasie, PA has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Director of Bank Operations and Information Technologies. Mr. Dragos has been heading the Operations/IT department since the Bank’s establishment in 2004 and has been in banking for 20 years.
Bernice Diggles of Willow Grove, PA has been promoted to Banking Officer in the Loan Operations Department. Ms. Diggles joined the Bank in 2006 as Assistant Loan Operations Manager and has been in banking for over 25 years.

BUCKS COUNTY BANK WALK TEAM RAISES $2600 FOR LYMPHOMA & LEUKEMIA SOCIETY
Bucks County Bank participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night walk on Saturday, October 3rd at the Bucks County Community College Campus. The Bank’s first ever Light the Night walk team consisted of 27 employees and their friends and family, who all helped to raise over $2600 for the fight against blood cancers. Team Captain Gwen Hartzell expressed her thanks and appreciation to “a great team of caring people working together for a great cause” for their participation in the event.

Bucks County Bank hosted a Business over Breakfast Briefing on September 16th, 2009 at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel. Invited were business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs from Lower Bucks County. Keynote speaker Andy Warren, Executive Director of the Penjerdel Council (and former chairman of the Bucks County Board of Commissioners), suggested business owners familiarize themselves with government agencies and non-profit organizations designed to assist them in growing and expanding their businesses during challenging economic times.
